THAI MASSAGE COURSE LEVEL I WITH RECOGNIZED DIPLOMA 

 

This Thai Massage Course includes information about the historical background, benefits and contraindications of  Thai massage and the energy lines. The participant will learn acupressure techniques with the thumbs, the palms of the hands, the elbows and the feet and passive stretches for the following body parts: head, neck, shoulders, face, back side lying, back face down, arms, abdomen and legs. The students will learn also stretching and closing. The students who attend altogether 30 hours and pass the short written examination will receive a diploma issued by the “Thai Massage School Chiang Mai” and recognized by the Thai Ministry of Education.

 

 

THAI TABLE MASSAGE COURSE WITH RECOGNIZED DIPLOMA

 

In the  Thai Table Massage Course, of 12 hours within one weekend, the participants will learn the level I techniques adapted to the massage bed. This technique is especially suitable for elderly clients or clients with reduced flexibility and for women after the third month of pregnancy. Also in case the masseuse/masseur has knee problems this method is recommendable, because she/he cannot give the traditional thai massage on the mattress on the floor.

The participants who finish the 12 hours and have learned all the techniques will receive a diploma issued by the “Thai Massage School Chiang Mai” and recognized by the Thai Ministry of Education. 

THAI FOOT MASSAGE COURSE WITH RECOGNIZED DIPLOMA

 

In the Thai Foot Massage Course, of 12 hours within one weekend, the students will learn the traditional Thai reflexology methods, for which we use a wooden stick to apply pressure on the reflex points, combined with the Thai techniques of relaxing foot massage.
The participants who finish the 12 hours and have learned all the techniques will receive a diploma issued by the “Thai Massage School Chiang Mai” and recognized by the Thai Ministry of Education.

Abhyanga is a traditional Ayurvedic full body massage. The massage is performed with rythmic movements (strokes with double palms) using warm ayurvedic oils and is a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. At the same time it is a therapeutic treatment, balancing the Vata inbalance. Vata corresponds to the element air. The Vata inbalance is caused by stress, sedentary work and bad posture, insufficient breathing, overflow of information and excessive mental  activity as well as by bad nutrition. In our society, due to our way of living, many people suffer from Vata inbalance.  

 

BENEFITS OF ABHYANGA


Abhyanga rejuvenates, reduces wrinkles and extends the duration of life. This massage nurishes the body and releases stress, anxiety and insomnia. It balances the Vata in the body, which is responsible for the sense of touch and the skin. Abhyanga tones the tissues and strengthens the body, improves the skin texture and gives the skin a soft and shining aspect. It improves the circulation and the general health state.

 

ABHYANGA AND THE INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE

3. Ayurvedic test for finding your body constitution and to be used lateron for your clients
4. Preparation of the place, the massage table and the oil (with information about where to purchase the original ayurvedic oil) and information to be given to the client
5. Introduction to the benefits, the contraindications and the technique of Abhyanga
6. Sequencing of Abhyanga – practice and repetition of the technique
